Welcome and Congratulations to Head Coach Joe Gargione
Joe Gargione will
be coaching his 6th year with PHS with 2010 being his first year as Head
Coach. Coach Gargione also teaches Engineering & Architecture at PHS.
“Coach Garge” graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2004, and was a
member of the football team playing wide receiver for all four years while
at TCNJ. Gargione was a key member of the
Lions' program from 1999 to 2002, excelling as a wide receiver and kick
returner. He was named to the NJAC All-Conference team as a sophomore.
Joe
also coaches track at PHS, helping the football team get faster every year
as well. The PHS Football Community and Boosters are very excited to
have Coach Gargione, who will certainly continue the successful era of Tiger
Ball established in this millenium.
"One of our main goals as a staff will be to continue
the success we've had the last few years. I'm all
about hard work, hustle, putting forth the effort,
pushing as hard as you can and believing in yourself.
I'm not big on student athletes saying "I can't' or
giving up. I'm a firm believer that all that hard work
will pay off."
Congratulations to the
following PHS Football Seniors who have been selected to play in the 2010
Sunshine Football All Star Classic on July 1, 2010 at TCNJ:
Trevor Barsamian
Skye Ettin
Josh Gordon
Joe Kirkenir
